LE MERIDIEN Hotels & Resorts, which is part of Marriott Bonvoy’s portfolio of 30 extraordinary brands, announced the opening of Le Meridien Petaling Jaya on June 1.
Owned by Jelas Puri Sdn Bhd, the new hotel features 300 guest rooms, dining options and unique brand programmes for guests.
Taking a cue from the brand’s mid-century modern design aesthetic, the property will bring Le Meridien’s distinctive European heritage to Petaling Jaya.

The comprehensive meeting and event spaces include a 1,700sq m pillarless grand ballroom that can accommodate up to 1,000 guests.
There are two dining destinations – the all-day-dining restaurant, Pasar Baru and PJ’s Bar & Grill, which is the largest rooftop bar in Petaling Jaya that doubles up as a sophisticated restaurant with a private cigar lounge, next to the outdoor infinity-edge rooftop pool.“We are delighted with the opening of Le Meridien Petaling Jaya in one of the most recognisable commercial and residential hubs in Malaysia.
