DELIVERING the dream of home ownership, Johor Land Bhd (JLand), the property development arm and subsidiary of Johor Corporation (JCorp), has completed 488 units at the Rumah Impian Bangsa Johor (RIBJ) project in Bandar Dato’ Onn, Johor Baru.

The key handover ceremony was graced by Tunku Mahkota Johor Tunku Ismail Ibni Sultan Ibrahim who represented Johor Ruler Sultan Ibrahim Ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar.

JCorp president and chief executive officer Datuk Syed Mohamed Syed Ibrahim said at the ceremony that JLand developed two RIBJ projects in Johor Baru in collaboration with Yayasan Sultan Ibrahim Johor (YSIJ) and the state government.

The other RIBJ project is located in Bandar Baru Majidee, also in Johor Baru.

So far, JLand has completed 808 affordable homes at both housing schemes.

“JCorp is committed to contributing towards housing initiatives of YSIJ and the state government by building quality affordable homes for Johoreans,” he said.

Meanwhile, JLand group managing director Datuk Akmal Ahmad said the company was delighted to be handing over the much-awaited RIBJ homes that were comfortable and functional, in line with its mission to build sustainable communities.

Both RIBJ projects in Bandar Dato’ Onn and Bandar Baru Majidee come with adequate infrastructure and amenities.

All units are furnished with appliances such as cooking hobs, air-conditioning units, television, refrigerator, washing machine and rice cooker.
