Water to be restored to 13 areas in Cheras by 6pm Thursday (Nov 4) after unscheduled cut


WATER supply at 13 areas in Cheras, Kuala Lumpur is expected to be restored at 6pm on Thursday (Nov 4) following a disruption due to an electrical problem at the SPPK ML Cheras Pump House, says Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Air Selangor) corporate communications head Elina Baseri.

Affected areas are Alam Damai, Bandar Damai Perdana, Taman Leng Seng, Taman Minang, Taman Bukit Cheras, Taman Bukit Anggerik, Taman Sri Bahagia, Taman Desa Cheras, Taman Dahlia Cheras, Taman Bukit Angsana, Taman Cheras Utama, Taman Desa Baiduri and Taman Suria Jaya.

According to the Air Selangor mobile application, water supply restoration was ongoing.

"All necessary action is being taken to expedite the restoration of water supply.

"Water supply assistance through water tanker has been mobilised to the affected areas.

"For emergency assistance, cal 15300," stated in the mobile application.
