TOUCH ‘n Go eWallet has enabled cashless payment at McDonald’s Malaysia restaurants.
The arrangement does not just provide a quicker avenue for users to pay for their order, but it also offers a host of #lebihbanyakekstra benefits – from cashback rewards through McDonald’s as well as Touch ‘n Go eWallet’s My Rewards: The Goal Hunter Edition.
To kick-start the partnership, Malaysians will enjoy a RM5 cashback with a minimum spend of RM25, when they pay with Touch ‘n Go eWallet.
The promotion is valid at 300 McDonald’s Malaysia restaurants nationwide, including its drive-through and McDelivery service, until Dec 31.
The cashback applies to one cashback per user during the campaign period.
“McDonald’s is a key partner to us because it is through the simplest pleasures like food that we can reach out to the people and inculcate the habit of contactless payment in our daily lives as the way forward, especially in this new normal, ” said TNG Digital Sdn Bhd chief executive officer Ignatius Ong.
“To celebrate this new feature, we are rewarding our users with cashback that they otherwise would not normally receive should they pay with cash.”
McDonald’s Malaysia managing director and local operating partner Azmir Jaafar said that with Touch ‘n Go eWallet on board as e-wallet partner, “We are giving our customers an upgraded digital payment service at our restaurants so that they can enjoy their favourite McDonald’s meal easily.”
Since 2018, Touch ‘n Go eWallet has seen exponential growth with more than 15 million users mapped to over 250,000 merchant acceptance points and still rapidly growing nationwide.
Touch ‘n Go eWallet app is available for download on the Apple App Store, Google Play Store and Huawei App Gallery.
