Patients irked over RM5 fee for temperature check


THE charging of RM5 for temperature scanning of patients by a private hospital has been described as ‘unethical’.

Consumers Association of Penang (CAP) president Mohideen Abdul Kader said the association received a complaint that the private hospital was charging patients RM5 for ‘A & E/ Outpatient Precautionary Measure’ as listed in the bills.
