THE National Farmer’s Organisation (Nafas) will introduce a smart agriculture programme to enable padi to be planted four times a year in Kedah to help increase the country’s rice production.

Its chairman Datuk Phahrolrazi Mohd Zawawi said the organisation was currently identifying suitable areas for padi cultivation estates to optimise operational costs.
