The voluntary firefighting squad from Long Kevok.

MIRI: The Penans of Long Kevok settlement in the interiors of northern Sarawak have set up their own voluntary firefighting unit — a first among the Penan community in Sarawak.

The setting up of the Long Kevok community emergency response team (ERT) was the result of intense training and cooperation between Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department and the people, said Miri Fire Department chief Supt Law Poh Kiong.
