Three more containers of waste from UK dumped in Penang

THREE new containers filled with non-recyclable waste from the United Kingdom have found their way to the North Butterworth Container Terminal (NBCT) on mainland Penang.

State Environment Committee chairman Phee Boon Poh said the 40-foot containers, each carrying between 10 and 15 tonnes of plastic and municipal waste, arrived on Sept 20.
