National pride soars high

A SCHOOL in Alor Setar, Kedah, is attempting to enter the Malaysia Book of Records (MBR) by parading a 120m-long Jalur Gemilang around its vicinity in conjunction with the Merdeka month.

SK Mergong headmaster Mohd Shakib Mohd Salleh said the school’s 1,156 pupils participated in the parade as part of its Merdeka month celebration.
