Living in despair over incessant noise

Muniamah, 90, says a police report was lodged in March due to the relentless noise from the metal works factory.

FAMILIES living in Kampong Batu Belah off Jalan Haji Sirat, Klang, have been tormented by the relentless hammering and grinding sounds from a metal works factory across their homes for the past six years.

The extremely loud mechanical banging punctuated with screeching sounds from 8.30am until 10.30pm has been a source of annoyance, driving some residents to despair over the lack of quiet.
