30 lorry operators fined for overloading vehicles


KUALA BERANG: The Terengganu Road Transport Department (JPJ) issued summonses to 30 lorry operators during its “Ops Tutup” operation on overloaded vehicles conducted over three days.

Its director Zulkarnain Yassin said the operation which began Jan 16, was conducted simultaneously in four hot spots across the state, namely Jalan Pengkalan Gawi in Kenyir- Aring, Kuari Bukit Diman in Hulu Terengganu, Bukit Yong Quarry in Besut and Kemaman.
