Massage chairs get smarter

OGAWA will be showcasing its flagship product, the Master Drive Plus massage chair, at Perfect Livin ‘19 home expo.

The three-day exhibition will be held at SPICE Arena, Penang, from today to Sunday.

Healthy World Lifestyle Sdn Bhd marketing head Au Jiun Yang said the chair using Japanese technology would give them an edge in the market.

“With eight sets of precision censors, the chair detects muscle soreness or tightness and picks up and processes responses. It will then adjust massages accordingly.

“It feels like the chair is communicating with the user, and optimises sensors and movement to accurately target the pressure points,” he said.

Equipped with M.5 Gen, a fifth generation Japanese microprocessor, the chair is able to delegate and coordinate each command with smooth and sophisticated control to achieve a multi-dimensional massage experience.

It also has upgraded thermal control for a more comfortable spa experience while the 185mm ultra wide massage with 37% wider massage range gives a more realistic feeling of human hands.

The machine also integrates acupuncture, Chinese chiropractic and spinal therapy in restoring health and vitality.

Established in 1996, the home-grown and award-winning brand Ogawa focused on wellness products at home.

To celebrate this festive season, Ogawa will also be showcasing its celebratory colour for MYsofa, another petite single- seater sofa range.

“Now, it comes with a Royal Purple colour and appeals more to the younger generation,” Au said, adding that those who have not tried Ogawa’s range of massage chairs and sofas could do so at the exhibition.

Visitors to the expo can expect a wide selection of wellness products that can be used at home.

“We try to meet all the needs of our consumers besides maintaining a trendy edge,” he said.

Taking up six booths, Ogawa will be offering visitors a prosperity bag worth RM888 with purchase of Master Drive Plus package while those who purchase MYsofa will get a fortune bag worth RM498.

Both bags come with a complimentary wealthy angpow set.

Each day, the first 500 registered visitors to the expo will get a free Perfect Lifestyle 2L Dry Bag.

The exhibition opens from 11am to 9pm and admission is free.
