Road reopens long after storm

THE road leading to the Ayer Itam Dam in Penang is now open to traffic after being closed for more than a year for slope strengthening works.

Perbadanan Bekalan Air Pulau Pinang (PBAPP) chief executive officer Datuk Jaseni Maidinda said works had been completed at 30 locations and the road was reopened to the public on Monday.
