MPKj: New rules to obtain permit for temporary structures


KAJANG Municipal Council (MPKj) has issued a set of guidelines for renovation permits involving temporary structures like partitions, awnings and party walls in commercial terrace buildings under the council’s purview.

The standard guidelines were introduced by the council’s Building Control Department after receiving feedback from business owners about the high cost of consultant fees for simple renovations in the past, said MPKj president Mohd Sayuthi Bakarat.
