Zeon CEO picked to chair Penang Scouts Council

THE Penang Scouts Council has elected Zeon Properties Group chief executive officer and founder Lee Toong Leon (pic) as its chairman during the 34th annual general meeting.

Lee was picked together with Stephen Kam Woi Chee and Ong Ewe Keat as the secretary and treasurer respectively by representatives of the council recently for the 2018/2020 term.

The new chairman said he would do his best to assist the Penang Scouts Association to achieve the goal of the Scouts Association of Malaysia.

Penang Scouts Chief Commissioner Zulkafli Kamaruddin said he would fully cooperate with the new council to allow the Penang Scouts camp to be developed in the near future.

Furthermore, the addition of new young council members has rejuvenated the Council and echoed the vision of the World Organisation of the Scout Movement in empower-ing young people.
