Making a habit of counting every drop

Personal hygiene practices such as washing hands can take up to 53 litres of water in a household.

IT HAS been reported that Malaysians use an average 300 litres per person a day. This is almost double the World Health Organisation’s (WHO) recommended usage of 165 litres.

Water conservation is a global issue, and one such event to address it is the three-day AsiaWater trade expo and technical symposium in Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre that kicks off today. It features over 1,000 exhibiting companies from 32 countries and over 40 speakers talking about a sustainable water future.
