Organise programmes to help women, NGOs urged

ISKANDAR PUTERI: Women based non-governmental organisations (NGOs) have been urged to organise more programmes in the future, in an effort to empower the group, especially those in rural areas.

Women Development Department director-general Datuk Yatimah Sarjiman said such programmes would become a platform to provide a positive change for the affected group.
