THIS year has been an interesting one for Petaling Jaya as several changes were put in place to address long-standing problems and to improve residents’ quality of life.

One welcome move was the implementation of a two-hour mandatory closure at 24-hour restaurants for cleaning purposes, following a flurry of complaints against dirty eateries.
