VOUK Hotel Suites Penang has unveiled an exciting themed semi-buffet lunch – Meriam Buluh Meletup – that is healthy and delicious with its diverse offerings.
A perfect work day indulgence without the guilt, the buffet showcases a mouth-watering spread of Asian classic appetisers and side dishes.
Whet appetites with refreshing pickled fruits, crackers including the crowd favourite of pappadom, foo yong egg and two types of vegetables of the day.
Served in a bamboo shoot, the main course is a choice of chicken, fish or lamb cooked in a variety of ways by head chef Fat Fong.
The menu differs daily to tantalise tastebuds. Complete your meal with desserts from the buffet line such as bubur gandum, bubur kacang merah, home-made jellies, puddings and fruit of the day.
The semi-buffet lunch is served from noon to 2.30pm daily until Sept 30 and priced from RM14.90 nett per person.
A dinner option is the ‘Let’s Get Fat! Fat-bulous’ Buffet Dinner with free flow of wine and beer on every Friday and Saturday.
The spread features a well-rounded mix of local and international delicacies.
Tuck into sushi and sashimi, and seafood on ice that are strikingly presented on a mini sampan.
The Grilled Food station sizzles with the aroma of chicken satay, chicken fillet, fish fillet, lamb, beef, jumbo sausages, squids, slipper lobsters and salmon being cooked.
Over at the Live Cooking section, the cook fervently dishes out the hotel’s locally acclaimed char koay teow, while from the Carving station are herb roasted chicken, beef striploin and lamb leg.
For more lip-smacking options, swing by the action stalls that whip up shawarma, waffle, pasta, noodles and other hot items, and indulge in the salads, appetisers, soup and desserts too.
Served from 7pm to 10pm, the buffet is priced at RM118 nett including alcohol or RM88 nett excluding alcohol for adults, and RM78 nett for children (aged four to 11 years) and senior citizens (65 years and above).
