Asean food festival

The dishes of 10 Asean countries are the highlight of the Asean Food Festival at Shangri-La Hotel, Kuala Lumpur. The special dishes of Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei, Thailand, Indonesia, Myanmar, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia and the Philippines are being featured at Lemon Garden Cafe. The promotion which ends today is in conjunction with Asean Day celebrations on Aug 8. Three special menus presenting a wide range of appetisers, soups, hot dishes and desserts have been prepared for the festival. Some of the dishes include Laos Lobster Salad with Minced Chicken, Cambodian Cabbage Salad with Roasted Peanuts or Vietnamese Grilled Lemongrass Beef Noodle Salad. For reservations, call 03-2074 3900.
