MANY deserving students might lose out if people do not pay back their education loan provided by the state government, says state Education Committee chairman Datuk Dr Muhammad Amin Zakaria.

Until Dec 31 last year, the state government has yet to receive more than RM17mil from 4,632 borrowers and has taken steps to ensure these borrowers pay back their loan.
