A GANTRY across Sungai Balak which has been blamed for floods in Kampung Baru Balakong is finally being removed.
Balakong assemblyman Eddie Ng said the electric cable gantry, which belongs to Tenaga Nasional Bhd (TNB) was too low. This caused rubbish to accumulate, obstructed the flow of water in the river and caused a backflow when water levels were high.
