THE Malaysian Crime Prevention Foundation (MCPF) wants the public to be the eyes and ears of the police to combat crime in the state.

MCPF Penang chairman Datuk Seri Syed Jaafar Syed Ali said Penangites could download the Volunteer Smartphone Patrol (VSP) app launched by the police in March for help.
