MIRI: The Department of Irrigation and Drainage (DID) is an important agency in Sarawak as it deals with flood and forest fire mitigation, urban drainage, river clearing and coastal protection.
Local Government and Housing Minister Datuk Dr Sim Kui Hian said this during his visit to the DID in Miri yesterday.
