THE first ever Inspirational and Outstanding AMCian Awards saw 10 old girls of Ave Maria Convent in Ipoh recognised for their achievements.
Held in conjunction with the 35th anniversary celebration of the Ave Maria Convent Alumni Association, the night paid tribute to notable figures such as former Malaysian Palm Oil Board director-general Datuk Dr Choo Yuen May, Malaysia Deposit Insurance Corp (PIDM) senior general manager (resolution planning unit) Lee Yee Ming and West Coast GRC Singapore MP Foo Mee Har.
