THE presence of a Penang MCA delegation attending the state assembly proceedings as observers was felt by elected representatives in the House.

Though state party chief Datuk Tan Teik Cheng and nine of his committee members sat silently in the public gallery, Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng (DAP-Air Putih) and state exco member Chow Kon Yeow (DAP-Padang Kota) could not resist making references to MCA.
