TRADERS have voiced their disagreement with a new ruling by the Seberang Prai Municipal Council (MPSP) in Penang which bans them from hiring foreign workers.
The ruling, scheduled to take effect from June, prohibits public market and roadside stall traders in the municipality as well as hawkers at MPSP food complexes from hiring foreign workers, even those with permanent resident status.
