BELAWAI: The fishing district of Belawai, famous for its beautiful sandy beaches and tiger prawns, came alive over the weekend with its annual beach festival.

Spread over three days from Friday, the festival was a lure not only to locals but also visitors from near and far, including Sibu, Sarikei and Tanjung Manis.
