Traders say prices of vegetables are coming down due to better weather

Trader Jodi (above) says she is happy her sales of greens have gone back up now that the Chinese New Year peak period is over and prices are coming down.

AFTER more than a month of higher prices for vegetables, shoppers can look forward to finding cheaper greens now that the peak period of Chinese New Year is over.

A check by MetroPerak at the Central Market in Ipoh found that prices for popular vegetables such as spinach, sawi and cabbage started going down about a week ago.
