Penang to keep on building affordable units

THE Penang government has built 20,887 low-cost (LC) and low medium-cost (LMC) units through both state and private initiatives.

State Housing, Town and Country Planning Committee chairman Jagdeep Singh Deo said the affordable units (11,487 LC and 9,400 LMC) were built between 2008 and last year.
