Hotel lights up giant Christmas tree

Guests enjoying the festive mood during the Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony at E&O Hotel in George Town, Penang.

IT was a luminous evening as hundreds witnessed the customary Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony at Eastern and Oriental (E&O) Hotel in George Town, Penang.

Adorned with 5,500 twinkling fairy lights, candy canes and shiny bells in festive hues of red and gold, the 6m-high Christmas tree which illuminated the hotel lobby, was set up to mark the arrival of the festive season.
