KUCHING: The construction of the Baleh Hydroelectric Project (HEP) will create about 3,500 jobs and business opportunities for the local community.
In a briefing to 120 key stakeholders in Baleh and Kapit yesterday, Sarawak Energy said opportunities are in the form of infrastructure and facility construction like operators’ village, civil works, maintenance, transmission and distribution works as well as biomass removal and supply of goods and services.
