Site picked for modern pig farming project

Ladang Tumbuk in Kuala Langat will be the site for modern pig farming in 2018 in an effort to improve hygiene and curb pollution.

Selangor Infrastructure and Agriculture committee chairman Zaidy Talib said Ladang Tumbuk was selected because of the large number of farmers in the vicinity, making it easier for them to carry out the modern pig farming that would include bio gas method for effluents from the farms.
