ENFORCEMENT personnel from local authorities in Selangor have inspected 8,644 eateries in the state this year.
Local Government committee chairman Ean Yong Hian Wah told the state assembly that some of the restaurants were issued summonses while others were ordered to shut temporarily after they were found to be dirty.
