Smooth transition into cashless system

THE transition to a fully electronic toll collection (ETC) system along the Damansara-Puchong Expressway (LDP) at noon yesterday went smoothly with short tailbacks at the former cash lanes.

Prior to this, the concessionaire Lingkaran Trans Kota Bhd (Litrak) had begun announcing the switch and prepared 68,000 Touch ‘n Go cards and 5,000 Smart Tag card readers for sale.
