The field hospital being set up on a portion of the parking area opposite the block that went up in flames at Hospital Sultanah Aminah in Johor Baru on Oct 31.

JOHOR BARU: The state government will be requesting for an extension on the Malaysian Armed Forces's (ATM) field hospital that will provide medical services for emergency cases at Hospital Sultanah Aminah (HSA).

Johor Health and Environment Committee chairman Datuk Ayub Rahmat said that the field hospital had started operations on Monday at the HSA grounds following a fire that broke out at the Intensive Care Unit here on Oct 25.
