High-rise block’s resource centre a towering example

KUDOS to the residents of Taman Pandan apartment in Butterworth, for running their own environment resource centre including recycling activities, composting and a small- scale farming.

Penang Welfare, Caring Society and Environment Committee chairman Phee Boon Poh praised the centre for drawing many local and foreign visitors since the recycling project started in January, 2002.
