New CT scan equipment allows Sarawak Heart Centre to conduct training and research

KOTA SAMARAHAN: Collaboration with the Sarawak Heart Foundation on medical equipment has helped the Sarawak Heart Centre here become one of the best of its kind in the region.

Local Government Minister Datuk Dr Sim Kui Hian said the foundation had purchased and donated over RM10mil worth of equipment to the centre over the past few years, including the first heart CT scan machine in Malaysia in 2005.
