An English Language Unity Carnival will be held today from 8am to 6pm at HELP University Subang 2 Campus in Persiaran Cakerawala. Organised by the Education Ministry’s Co-curriculum and Arts Division together with the Selangor Education Department, the carnival sees students representing their states in English language-based national-level competitions such as public speaking. All school students are encouraged to attend.

Limber moves: Pupils of SJK (C) Brinchang, Cameron Highlands, Pahang, flaunt their routine in the primary school action song competition at the English Language Unity Carnival. The carnival, organised by the Education Ministry, was held in Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, Johor, from Aug 22 - 24, 2015.


Pokemon Go fans can catch them all at Sunway malls in the Klang Valley for the next two weeks. Starting today, Sunway Pyramid, Sunway Putra Mall and Sunway Giza Mall will activate their lure modules campaign to attract rare Pokemons. Players can find out the hours and location on the malls’ social media sites. Sunway Pyramid will also have a best costume contest on Aug 13 at 8pm.

Kuala Lumpur City Opera (KLCO) will showcase its production of Giacomo Puccini’s opera in four acts – La Boheme – from Aug 25 to 28 at Kuala Lumpur Performing Arts Centre (KLPAC), Pentas 1, Jalan Strachan, off Jalan Ipoh, Kuala Lumpur. Shah Alam City Council (MBSA) is organising an art and culture activity titled ‘Program Warna’ today, from 2pm to 7pm, at Laman Seni 7, Jalan Plumbum Q7/Q, Shah Alam.
