FOOD outlets are putting customers at risk with their lackadaisical attitude towards cleanliness.

Selangor Health, Welfare, Women and Family Affairs committee chairman Dr Daroyah Alwi said common violations include using dirty cloths to wipe tables, putting vegetables on the kitchen floor, storing food at unsafe temperatures and not ensuring foreign workers are vaccinated against waterborne diseases.
