MORE than 800 people from all walks of life turned up to support a fundraising dinner organised by the Sri Tanjung Voluntary Fire Fighting Association in George Town.
Held to raise money to build the association’s fire station in Weld Quay, the dinner saw guests being entertained to various performances and treated to a scrumptious Chinese course dinner.
