State stand on shrine, BN reps told

The ‘Datuk Kong’ shrine within the newly refurbished Armenian Street Park in George Town is a hot topic of discussion at the state assembly.

CHIEF Minister Lim Guan Eng has challenged Penang Barisan Nasional assemblymen to make a stand over the ‘shrine issue’ at the newlyrefurbished Armenian Street Park.

Lim said they should not remain silent since Opposition Leader Datuk Jahara Hamid (BN-Teluk Air Tawar) had raised the issue at the assembly.
