Ho said the association found out in February that its application had been rejected by DBKL and it hoped City Hall would reconsider the relocation of the temple.
SELAYANG Lama Por Tor Association is urging Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) to reconsider the relocation of the Por Tor temple and hope that it will be approved before the festival in August.
The association claims that the current temple, which is located next to a plot of empty land slated for a proposed central slaughterhouse beside the Selayang daily market, is too small for any prayers to be conducted during the festival.
