There will be free screenings of two Japanese films at the Star Pitt St. in Penang on April 9. The movie ‘Bluebirds’ will be screened from 4pm to 6pm and ‘Fireworks from the Heart’ from 7pm to 9pm. Seats are limited to 40 people. A tsumami- zaiku handicraft workshop will be held at the same venue from 2pm to 4pm the same day for a fee of RM20 per person. Participation is limited to 15 persons. Join the inaugural Tempatan Fest at the Seberang Prai Municipal Council field in Jalan Bagan Luar, Butter-worth, today and tomorrow from 10am to 10pm. The touring festival will feature local clothing brands, rock bands and food. Admission is free.
