RM500,000 in damage to Tuanku Bainun bridge

A section of the Bainun bridge where the railing had gone missing poses a danger to the motorists.

THE MISSING railings and damaged lamp posts on the Raja Permaisuri Bainun Bridge or Tungku Bainun Bridge are a matter of concern for all citizens of Perak and not just residents of Lumut, says Perak Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Dr Zambry Abdul Kadir.

The railings from the bridge and wiring from the lamp posts on the 1.2km bridge were stolen over what is believed to be a span of several months.
