Three centres begin collecting recyclable items


SEVERAL organisations have kick-started a series of recycling campaigns at three collection centres in Batu Ferringhi, Jalan Brown and Nibong Tebal.

The recycling effort, jointly initiated by the Penang Green Council (PGC), parent-teacher association of SJK(C) Pai Chai, Penang Institute and the Bukit Panchor Village Development and Security Committee (JKKK), is aimed at collecting used glass bottles and household electronic waste (e-waste).
