Cousins shoulder responsibility of carrying on kavadi tradition

BUILDING supervisor Charles Michael, a Hindu, believes family bonding will be strengthened if there is love for God.

For the last 30 years, his family has been celebrating the Thaipusam festival, an occasion when he and his cousins would take turns to carry the family’s atta kavadi (dancing kavadi).
