Experience the wonders of the ocean this festive season with dancing mermaids, scuba Santas and a Giant Pacific octopus unwrapping Christmas presents at Aquaria KLCC’s Christmas “Fun2Sea” line-up this month. From now until Dec 31, those looking for a different kind of Christmas fun can enjoy feeding the fishes special Christmas treats at the Deep Forest part of the aquarium, while over at the Living Ocean corner, visitors will be amused by Aquaria’s resident Giant Pacific octopus who has been trained to unwrap Christmas gifts presented to it. On selected days, real-life mermaids will thrill both parents and children alike with their underwater antics and tricks at the Aquatheatre. Timing for the activities are: Giant Pacific Octopus Unwrapping – 11.15am daily; Scuba Santa Feeding Sessions – noon daily; Christmas Treat Feeding Sessions 5pm daily; and Christmas Augmented Reality at 2pm to 3pm daily; Mermaid Performances at 11.30am on Dec 25 and 30.
