British master engraver holds workshop

COMYNS, one of the oldest silversmiths from the United Kingdom, organised a Bespoke Hand Engraving Workshop at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur recently to show the skills required to hand-engrave on metal, like sterling silver.

Its factory manager and experienced engraver, Gerd Joachim Neumann, who conducted the workshop, said all exquisite Comyns items were produced through traditional English methods of “silversmithing”.
