Trio remanded for four days for assault

SIBU: The three locals who were arrested for allegedly involved in the beating of two youths in Kuching, an incident caught on video that has gone viral, were ordered by the Magistrate’s Court here to be remanded for four days.

The trio – a 45-year-old man, his 18-year old stepdaughter, and her 50-year-old mother – were arrested at 9pm on Monday in a house in Rejang Park.
